Day 1
Welcome to Nepal
Greeted by the snow-capped mountains of the Himalayas, your private guide greets you and whisks you away to your 5 star hotel. Enjoy a relaxing night on the property or venture out into Kathmandu with your guide for some food and great nightlife.
Day 2
Kathmandu Free Day
The sights and sounds of Kathmandu make the city come alive during the day. Enjoy a personalized day tour filled with UNESCO heritage sights, holy temples, and lively markets and local haunts, sampling every bit of cuisine and culture along the way.
Day 3
Kathmandu to Lukla and Phakding
An infamous airport landing carved into the mountainside and a half-day hike to Phakding kick off your Himalayan journey. Enjoy the local cafes and grab a coffee and pastry, or head to the pool hall and enjoy a beer with the porters finishing their day.
Day 4
Phakding to Namche
A full day of trekking, lace up your hiking boots and enjoy the fresh mountain air and expansive views. The Hillary Suspension Bridge makes for a great photo opportunity, and lunch in Monjo lets us refuel before our steep climb up to the city of Namche.
Day 5
Namche and Everest Views
The largest Sherpa village in the Himalayas, Namche stuns with it’s colorful stone structures, laid out like a perfect amphitheater tucked into the mountains. Enjoy phenomenal views of Everest and it’s surrounding giants while you acclimatize.
Day 6
Namche Helicopter to Everest and Kathmandu
Today we enjoy a wonderful breakfast with Everest in the background before our helicopter journey to the base of Everest. Enjoy the views from Kala Patthar and your closest shot of Everest, before enjoying a scenic helicopter ride back to Kathmandu.
Day 7
Departure Day
After a wonderful farewell dinner with your team, we pack up and enjoy a last stroll through Thamel, grabbing breakfast and some souvenirs before the journey home.
